Mr Jeffrey Tan joined Advance SCT group in August 2009. He is responsible for administration, property and facilities management, human resources, as well as the supervision of the Group’s Ever Glory logistics business. Besides, Mr Tan undertakes special duties such as heading the internal audit committee which reports directly to the Board, in particular the Chairman of Audit Committee and the Chairman of Risk Management Committee. He stepped down as the COO of Advance SCT group after taking private of Ever Glory Logistics Pte Ltd in September 2013.
Prior to this, he was the General Manager and Director of Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific & Tektronix South East Asia for about 15 years, where he had built up the printer sales business unit, achieving sales targets, operational efficiency, service excellence and profitability goals in the ASEAN region. He was the Region Sales Manager (South Asia) at Epson Singapore for 10 years from 1986 to 1995. He had spent the last 25 years in a fast-pace IT industry and has strong regional networks.
Mr Tan graduated from Louisiana State University, USA, with a Bachelor Degree in Quantitative Business Administration and Computer Science. He attended the Executive Management program at the University of Michigan in 1997.
Mr. K.Kasahara joined EGL on December 1st , 2017 as an expatriate from Daito Koun Co. Ltd. He leads sales and customer service for Japanese companies which already have a presence in Singapore and/or coming to expand their fields into Singapore market from now on.
He has the experience engaged in logistics business in Thailand from 2003 to 2007 and at Shanghai, China from 2010 to 2013 and is familiar with international logistics.
Graduating Hitotsubashi University with a Bachelor Degree of Commerce and Management on March 28, 1985 , he started his career at MOL (a Japanese Shipping Company) in 1985 and gained experience in international logistics. He transferred his registration from MOL to Daito Koun from Oct. 1, 2017 after a two-year posting period at Daito Koun and 32 years engagements at MOL.
Mr Max Lai officially joined Ever Glory Logistics as Senior Manager on 2nd March 2020. His responsibilities include Freight & Customs, Warehousing & Distribution.
With over 27 years of experience in the International Logistics industry, he began his career in the Air Freight industry after graduating with a Diploma in Business Administration from Singapore Polytechnic. He proceeded to take on responsibilities in Physical Distribution sector, and managed a broad range of commodities of MNC accounts in different warehouses, including automated (ASRS) warehouses with international companies.
Mr Lai continued to demonstrate his expertise in managing the Freight & Buyer’s Consolidation sector, as well as in Transportation & Logistics Sales with various other companies. Prior to joining Ever Glory Logistics, Mr Lai held a senior management role in the Logistics Division of a renowned feeder operator involved in Batam Trade.
